Wellness Navigation
What Navigators do
Navigators support youth and families to deal with challenges, achieve their goals and aspirations, they help navigate the often complicated path to find solutions and services. Navigators places our members at the centre of decision making and support them to build a better future.
Navigators work with youth and families by:
starting by asking them what they want to achieve for themselves, and then offer flexible support to help them move beyond crisis into identifying and achieving medium and long-term goals for sustained improvements
using a wrap around, holistic approach that focuses on everything important to their wellness, including : culture and community, psychosocial and physical health, education and employability, economics and housing, food security, and more
recognizing that each person has a different set of circumstances, skills, knowledge and experiences and what works well for one may not work well for everyone
Once they have helped members identify their goals, a Navigator will find the right services at Native Montreal or from outside partners and service-providers to help achieve those goals
All our navigators will protect our member’s private information and will listen and support them in a safe environment.
