Watershed Dance Program 2024
Welcome to Watershed, a transformative dance program designed exclusively for Indigenous youth in Montreal.
Registrations are now closed
Native Montreal is excited to present Watershed, a dance camp for Indigenous youth 12-16 years old.
This 10-week program will explore different dance styles such as contemporary, Powwow, hip-hop, hoop, and more! We’ll be creating an exciting, youth-led project that will culminate in a final show on a real stage. This experience will provide participants with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity in a professional setting. If you’re looking for a fun and creative opportunity to strut your stuff and help organize a phenomenal end-of-year show, all the while making new friends… this is for you!
Watershed strives to create a safe and brave space for Indigenous youth to explore performing arts. This program encourages two-spirit, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse youth to participate. All teachers and dancers participating in this program are Indigenous.
